The Nutrition Presentations will be in two parts…
Part 1 deals with “Eating to Train” – Nutrition plays a huge role in allowing you to maintain a high training volume and get the most out of your sessions. It also lets you recovery optimally in-between and prepare for the next session. In this session we will cover day to day eating with a busy schedule, why we eat certain foods as a swimmer and how to recover with the use of food and fluids.
Part 2 deals with “Eating to Compete” – Your preparation for racing should always include your food and fluid plan to optimise your performance in races and recover well in-between races. Nutrition, especially during competition is individual, and it’s important you know your options and the nutrition objectives of competing to help make a competition plan that works for you
