The first weekend of the 2019 East Region Championships saw BPSC taking a large selection of swimmers who had achieved the necessary qualification times to the Inspire Luton Sports Village.

At the time of writing Championship medals currently secured for the Basildon & Phoenix team included 1st place (Gold) medals for Lewis Binning (Mens 16 Yrs 100m Freestyle and Mens Open 400m Freestyle), Vejune Petraityte (Womens 17 Yrs/Over 50m Breaststroke), Roan Brennan (Mens Open 100m Butterfly and 400m Freestyle – Multi-Disability) and first place for the Mens 14/16 Yrs 400m Medley Team relay team. Second Place (Silver) medals were secured by Jack Turrell, Rebecca Howell, Noah Jameson Neal, Ellie Wheeler, Danielle Hartin, Lewis Binning plus the Womens 17 Yrs/Over 800m Freestyle relay team.
Update: At the end of the first weekend, BPSC were placed 3rd in the Overall Top club event and 2nd in the Para-Swimming Medal table!
