To explain the different categories above a little bit better… In the ESSA Inter-Division there are three age groups…
- Junior – aged 11 years and under 13 years (Normally School Year 7 & 8)
- Intermediate – aged 13 years and under 15 years (Normally School Year 9 & 10)
- Senior – aged 15 years and under 18 years (Normally School Year 11, 12 & 13)
Age at 31st August/1st September (Academic Year)
