In a test of the depth of their swimming talent, the Basildon & Phoenix swimming club successfully competed in two simultaneous League competitions on Saturday 4th March. Congratulations to BPSC masters swimmers Martin ‘Stretch’ and Michelle Lane, who competed in the International Ice Swimming Association 5th World Championships this week. This event was held in Samoëns, a small town in the French Alps. After a busy couple of days Michelle and Stretch will be bringing back a few souvenirs! Well done both!

After an event-by-event tussle with the Romford team, the BPSC squad pulled away in the last quarter to take first place by 7 points.
