The Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships – formerly the British Summer Championships, took place in Ponds Forge, Sheffield from 19th to 26th July with some exceptional performances by our BPSC swimmers. In a test of the depth of their swimming talent, the Basildon & Phoenix swimming club successfully competed in two simultaneous League competitions on Saturday 4th March. Congratulations to BPSC masters swimmers Martin ‘Stretch’ and Michelle Lane, who competed in the International Ice Swimming Association 5th World Championships this week. This event was held in Samoëns, a small town in the French Alps. After a busy couple of days Michelle and Stretch will be bringing back a few souvenirs! Well done both!
